Historic Eastside

The Historic Eastside District of Santa Fe is the perfect example of what Santa Fe style really is. Most of the neighborhoods and communities have an architecture style reminiscent of when New Mexico looked like during the pre-railroad days of the southwest. This area has all of the style and culture you would expect to find when living in Santa Fe.

Acequia Madre

In Acequia Madre, you can expect to find homes both new and old selling for a premium amount in the market. This is because this community is well known it's charm and overall character. Here you will find somewhat quaint narrow streets, and a more easy-going lifestyle. In fact, it has such a wonderful style that newer Santa Fe community developments have gone to great lengths to mimic and create the same feel in their projects as you would find in Acequia Madre.

Garcia & Camino Del Monte Sol

Both approximately a mile long, Garcia & Camino Del Monte Sol have homes that resemble a portrait of 20th-century Santa Fe. Homes here feature the traditional Santa Fe style adobe homes with both older and newer architecture. Many local artists live and work around these communities. It is not uncommon when talking to some of the older residents to feel as though you have stepped back in time when children rode burros down the street, alongside the cornfields.

Canyon Road

Canyon Road is well known for it's many museums and art galleries depicting the legendary character and charm of old Santa Fe. The historic adobe architecture found in this neighborhood depict the humble beginnings of the culture in New Mexico. Though these houses were made of mud, they provided the area with an enduring quality of warmth and southwestern style.
