Southeast

New Mexico is known for it's expansive outdoors, and breath-taking vistas. In southeast Santa Fe, there is no exception to the rule. Here you can find some of the most expansive property in the city. Most lot sizes vary from a half acre to over five acres of land in Wilderness Gate, Arroyo Hondo, Seton Village, and Sunlit Hills.

Wilderness Gate

On the southeast side of Santa Fe, you'll find Wilderness Gate nestled in a forested area in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. It is a mountain community with tall ponderosa pines as well as pinon and juniper trees. You can find great hiking trails as well as facilities for horseback riding.

The homes found in Wilderness Gate are both elegant and spacious. They are single-family dwellings with a private garage, studio/guesthouse, and access to recreational facilities. One of the best things about this area is that the lots are five or more acres in size, so there's plenty of room for you and your family.

Seton Village

The village grew around the 32-room Seton Castle built by Ernest Thompson Seton during the 1930's, and later burned down in November of 2005. Seton Village began in the 1930's as well on 100 acres of land to a total 2,599 acres. The village was home for the Seton Institute which held the Woodcraft League, and the College of Indian Wisdom.
